Delivery and Payments
When you place an order with the Bennie Bookworm online you will receive an immediate confirmation email prior to your order being processed. We will notify you again by email once your account has been charged and your order dispatched. When your payment is received your order is ready to be dispatched.
Orders are typically shipped out within two business days of the purchase date. After the order has been shipped, standard domestic delivery occurs on average within two to seven business days, but some standard orders may take up to 2 weeks.
For international orders, packages typically arrive within 2 to 4 weeks of shipping date, depending on Customs handling.
You will be notified of any items that are out of stock and of their expected delivery date. These items will be placed on back order if requested.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched.
We use Australia Post (and couriers). Bennie Bookworm will not be held liable for the loss or damage of items delivered by Australia Post.
Australian Delivery Addresses
Please note that orders delivered to remote areas may require an additional day to reach their destination.
Overseas delivery Address
International delivery costs are determined by the total cost of the order and the delivery method chosen.
International Sea freight
This is a fully traceable priority-paid door-to-door courier option. International Courier orders are fully insured.
International Airmail
This is a postal option for orders intended for non-Australian delivery addresses. Your order is sent via airmail to the country of destination at which point delivery is reliant on the local postal service. Orders sent via airmail are not insured or traceable.

We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. Should a product be listed with an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will issue a full refund in the amount of the incorrect price.
We also reserve the right to limit quantities (including after you have submitted your order). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it with the original packing receipt within 30 days of the order date for exchange. If You Are Returning a Gift
We are happy to exchange a gift within 30 days of purchase for another item of equal value from our store on presentation of the original Bennie Bookworm Online sales docket.
Please write on the package "Returning for an Exchange" and ensure that the product you are returning are in its original packaging. Also include what product you would like to have in place of the 'returned' product.
Attach the receipt of your return postage costs and we will credit your card for this amount, plus then re-sent the exchange product of your choice, free of charge. All returns should be sent to:

You will find instructions for returning and exchanging purchases on your packing slip/invoice. Items for return or exchange must arrive in their original condition--please see "Special Items or Situations" below for more information.
You may return your package via the carrier of your choice. For your protection, we suggest using a shipping service that provides delivery confirmation, and that you insure the package for the value of the item(s) enclosed.

Special Items or Situations
We will issue an exchange or partial refund, at our discretion, for:
- Items returned more than 30 days after purchase,
- Items returned used, washed, or worn,
- CDs / DVDs returned opened or out of their original plastic shrink-wrap,
- Items not returned in original condition or packaging,
- Items returned damaged or missing parts.
- Bulk purchases or specially discounted items.
SALES TAX
Our store collects and pay sales tax (GST) as required by Australian law. If sales tax is applicable to your order it will be calculated and shown during check-out.
"OUT OF STOCK" PRODUCTS
We make every effort to keep products in stock. "Out of stock" products are typically re-stocked within 2-6 weeks, depending on the location of the product's supplier, and product continuation. (Products sourced from overseas may take longer to re-stock.) We will reply individually to inquiries regarding specific "out of stock" products, where possible (depending on volumes of inquiries). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience. Your business is extremely important to us.
